How to Enroll in CDL Training
Submit Your Application
Fill out our simple application form. This takes about 10 minutes and helps us understand your goals.
Talk to Admissions
We will call you to discuss the program, answer your questions, and make sure this is the right fit for you.
Get Your CLP and Physical
You will need your Commercial Learner’s Permit and DOT physical. We will walk you through every step.
Complete Requirements
Pass your DOT drug test and send us your driving record. Most students finish this in 1 to 3 weeks.
Start Training
Join your class in Marinette, WI. In 4 to 6 weeks, you will have your Class A CDL and be ready to drive professionally.

When does the next class start?
We start a new class every 4 weeks. Sometimes classes start sooner. Reserve your spot now and we will let you know the next available start date for you.
How can I pay for CDL training?
Wisconsin residents have several options. WIOA funding can cover your full tuition if you qualify (you pay zero). If you do not qualify for WIOA, you can pay upfront yourself and receive $2,250 back through the Commercial Driver Training Grant after you pass your test. Veriha also offers tuition reimbursement after you drive for us for 12 months and 120,000 miles. These are separate options, not combined.
What is WIOA and how do I qualify?
WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act) is funding from the Wisconsin Division of Workforce Development. It can pay your complete tuition. You may qualify if you are a displaced worker who lost your job, came from a difficult situation, or want to move into a higher paying career. Contact your local Wisconsin Job Center to see if you qualify.
What if I am not from Wisconsin?
We still want to talk to you. While WIOA and the Commercial Driver Training Grant are only for Wisconsin residents, we can discuss other options when you speak with admissions.
How long will I be away from home?
The program is 4 to 6 weeks total. Many students go home on weekends. We provide free lodging so you can focus on training without worrying about costs.
What if I have never driven a truck before?
That is okay. Most of our students have never driven a truck. We teach you everything from how the truck works to how to back up to hauling real freight.
Will I have a job after graduation?
Graduates who meet expectations are given priority consideration for employment with Veriha Trucking. We want to hire drivers we trained.
How many students are in each class?
We limit classes to 9 to 12 students with a 3 to 1 student to instructor ratio. This means you get personalized attention, not assembly line training.
